Formax FD 430 Envelope Sealer Increases Efficiency

May, 2017

DOVER, NH, MAY ’17: Formax introduces the FD 430 Envelope Sealer, which moistens and seals envelopes in a single pass, reducing labor costs and increasing productivity.

The FD 430 eliminates the need for sponges or glue sticks, replacing them with a precision rubber moistening roller. Standard features include an adjustable envelope separator to ensure accurate feeding, variable speed control, a large outfeed tray, and heavy-duty metal construction. A built-in flap closing bar allows users to load envelopes in a standard stack or nested with flaps open for even greater efficiency.

Using the FD 430 couldn’t be easier. Simply load envelopes into the the infeed tray, choose a processing speed, and in seconds, envelopes are sealed and ready for the mail. Operators can seal envelopes up to 9.75” wide x 15” long, up to 16 mm thick, and at speeds up to 18,000 envelopes per hour.

The Formax FD 430 Envelope Sealer is a compact, rugged solution for mail houses, advertising agencies, businesses and schools.
