Formax Introduces New Touchscreen Technology for Tabletop Pressure Sealers

July, 2018

DOVER, NH: Formax introduces the new FD 1406 and FD 1506 Tabletop Pressure Sealers, replacing the FD 1402 and FD 1502, with an innovative color touchscreen control panel, one of the first in the industry.

The new Formax touchscreen technology will be incorporated into the entire tabletop pressure seal line, scheduled for roll-out within the next 90 days. The intuitive graphic interface uses internationally-recognized symbols in place of text, making it easy for anyone to use.

Pressure seal forms are ideal for checks, invoices, marketing pieces, school reports and any other mail piece that can be printed on one form. Simply load the forms, set the fold type, and press the start icon. In minutes, you’ll have folded and sealed pieces, ready for the mail, without the hassle and expense of envelopes.

The FD 1406 processes up to 73 forms per minute, while the FD 1506 processes up to 100 forms per minute, in sizes up to 14” long. Six popular folds are clearly marked on the rugged metal fold plates for quick, simple set-up and operation, and can be easily adjusted for custom folds.

Standard features include heavy-duty steel construction, a hopper capacity of up to 160 for the FD 1406 and 200 forms for the FD 1506, a drop-in feed-system, six-digit resettable counter, and of course, proven Formax pressure seal technology.

The FD 1406 and FD 1506 AutoSeal are proudly made in the USA, and with the new intuitive and innovative touchscreen, they’re ideal for small businesses, schools, and offices looking for affordable automation and ease of use.
